Mixes that stomp.
From thunderous metal to melodic indie, send me your tracks and I'll make them loud, clear and unmistakably yours.

Here's the honest truth: this isn't a business for me, it's a passion project I genuinely love. So while I build my portfolio, I'll mix a song for free for a handful of bands, as long as it's one I can do justice to. I listen to every submission, so spots are limited and it's first come, first served.
Your recorded track, plus any notes you'd like to share about the sound.
I listen to every submission. If it's well recorded and I know I can take it up a level, you're in. Not every track makes the cut.
You get a proper, full mix back to use however you like. No catch, no invoice.
In return, all I ask is to feature the finished track in my portfolio, with a credit and a link back my way when you release it. I'll point people straight to your Spotify, Bandcamp or band page, and if the track isn't out yet, we'll agree the timing so nothing goes public before you're ready.
Two minutes. Choose Free mix (portfolio offer) and drop in a link to your track.
From the stage
I played guitar and sang in UK metal bands for years before I moved from the front of the stage to behind the desk. I know what it feels like to pour everything into a song, then watch a flat, lifeless mix bury it.
That's the bit I fix. At Stomper Six Studio I mix and master across genres, but heavy music is home: thunderous riffs, powerful drums, vocals that cut through. Aiming for something melodic like pop, indie, country or folk? I bring the same care to that too.
When you work with Stomper Six, you work with me. Not a queue, not an intern. One pair of ears that actually gives a damn about your record.
I've stood on the stage and written the songs. I mix for the feeling and the energy, not just the meters.
It's your music, start to finish. Want to master it elsewhere, or need the raw mix for something? Just ask and I'll send the unmastered version too, no fuss.
We dial it in together. Every mix includes three rounds of revisions so it lands exactly how you hear it.
Message me directly. Real conversations about your record, fast replies, honest feedback, no middlemen.
Polished for streaming, radio and CD: loud, balanced and consistent across every platform.
From £100 per song, with mastering included, so that's the finished price. No hidden fees, no surprise invoices, you know the number up front.

Mixed by me at Stomper Six Studio. Mostly metal and rock, but not only.
"In the silence of machines, we find our primal scream." A dystopian anthem about the machines rising and humanity losing the plot: tight, hard-hitting guitars and a rhythm section that doesn't ask permission. I wrote it, played it, recorded it, mixed it and mastered it end to end.

Save ~15%The big one. Tailored quote with the best per-song rate.
Save ~20%I keep a small number of spots open at £75 per song, mastering still included, for records I want on the roster. Once they're taken, standard pricing applies.
Pricing assumes ~35 individual tracks, recorded well and needing little to no editing. Drop me the details and I'll confirm a tailored quote before I start.
Easy. Share a WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar link via the contact form. Export each track separately as its own file (your multitracks) from the very start of the song (bar one), all at the same sample rate, and I'll take it from there.
Your multitracks (every track exported separately), the song's tempo (BPM), a reference track or two so I know the sound you're after, and any notes on the vibe you want. The better the recording, the better the mix, but I'll always get the most out of what you send.
Either works, multitracks are ideal. Multitracks are every individual track exported on its own file: each mic, each DI, each vocal, separately. That gives me the most control to balance and treat every part. But if that's not practical, sensible stems are fine too, for example all the drums bounced to a single stereo file, guitars to another, and so on. Just keep vocals and any key lead parts separate if you can. Whatever you've got, send it over and I'll work with it.
Every price includes mastering, so the number on the page is the finished cost. There's no separate master to buy. Mixing rates assume around 35 individual tracks, well recorded and needing little editing, which covers most songs. Bigger sessions are more work and cost more: quad-tracked guitars, live and sampled drums blended together and stacked vocals can push a metal song well past 60 tracks. Heavy editing, timing or tuning is extra too. Tell me the track count when you send the files and I'll confirm a fixed price before I start, so you never get a surprise invoice.
Most single tracks turn around within one to two weeks, depending on the current queue and how many revisions we go through. Got a deadline? Tell me up front and I'll let you know honestly if I can hit it.
Three rounds of revisions are included with every mix. Because we agree the direction from your free quote and assessment first, most projects need far fewer.
We agree the direction up front, so we're aligned before I start, then refine it together across three rounds of revisions, and most projects get there with room to spare. If something isn't landing, tell me and we'll work through it within those rounds. I'll give your track everything I've got and always be straight with you about what's realistic.
Not at all. Heavy music is home: death metal, metalcore, deathcore, thrash, hardcore, progressive and black metal all welcome, but I also mix and master rock, punk, pop, indie, country and folk. If it's got energy and emotion, I want to hear it. I work with artists remotely, anywhere in the world.
Absolutely. Albums and EPs are very welcome, and I'll put together a tailored bundle price. Send me the track count and I'll come back with a number.
Yes, so let's talk about it before I master. Vinyl plays by different rules to streaming: the loud, limited master that suits Spotify isn't what works when a record gets cut. If vinyl is even a maybe, just mention it early and we'll plan it in. Whoever ends up cutting it will have their own requirements and I'll prepare to those. It's a separate deliverable from your streaming master, so it's far easier to sort up front than after the fact.
Want a free mix, a paid quote, or just to chat about your track? Tell me what you're working on and I'll get back to you personally. For a free mix, include a link to your multitracks, your rough mix, and a few notes on what's bugging you.
